Backwards integration for safeguarding raw materials

We believe that it is essential to safeguard supplies of waste paper, our primary raw material. This applies to quantity and quality alike. As regards waste paper, we have therefore been relying on our own supplies of raw materials for more than 40 years.

The diversity of our products and the composition of our carton board materials require various types of waste paper. Our own and affiliated companies dispose of waste from households, commercial and industrial companies, traders and public authorities, and we therefore have systematic access to suitable types of waste paper from nearby as well as from international areas of high population density.
