Partner for the folding carton industry

We produce recycled carton board for the folding carton industry using our carton machine CM3. With an effective width of approx. 420 cm and a capacity of approx. 260,000 t per annum, it is one of the most productive machines in Europe.

The primary raw material is mixed waste paper from household collections. However, sorted and special types of waste paper are also used to achieve the required product properties. With the aid of a complex material preparation process, we start by removing extraneous material and impurities using state-of-the-art technology, and then prepare the fibres for optimum processing. In the wet section, nine cylinders ensure that the fibres are distributed as evenly as possible, and facilitate the manufacture of a wide range of basis weights. A large part of the water from the fibre mixture is subsequently pressed out in the press section with the integrated shoe press, before the board web reaches the dry section. Here there is a large dryer cylinder, the primary function of which is to smooth the surface of the carton board. The inline blade coater for the backliner and topliner of the carton board optimises the surface for good printability later on.

Later in the manufacturing process, our machinery cuts the carton board individually into the formats required by the customer before it is packaged on pallets. The piles of carton board are then completely packaged in shrink wrapping to protect them from climatic fluctuations. An automatic transport belt conveys the pallets to our warehouse, from where they are dispatched.

A team of quality control personnel monitors the production process continually, and takes samples to check compliance with defined carton board parameters.
Our continuous production processes and reliable production planning make us a favoured partner for the folding carton industry.
