PEFC - Certification

Folding cartonboard from WEIG is now certificated also according FSC – and PEFC-standards.
The interest from consumers with regard to product source and conversion in sustainable ways is permanently increasing. This development is understood and respected by WEIG-Karton by means of certification according to FSC and PEFC standards. The certificates have been issued and confirm, that fibre materials are from sustainable managed forests and from controlled and recognized sources. Customers of WEIG-Karton can from now on rely on sustainable raw material management - certified and controlled by third party.
The well-kown cartonboard qualities Uniboard-S and Unistar  are now also available with FSC- and PEFC- certification.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an independant organization to promote the responable management of the world‘s forests.  www.fsc.org

PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) is an independant certification initiative to secure sustainable forrest management. www.pefc.de
